Ben Hawkins

Our owner, Ben Hawkins, is the heart and soul behind Blackhawk Building Company. An Arizona native and the son of a union painter, Ben grew up around the trade, with job sites and hard work part of everyday life. He built his career in finance before bringing that same discipline into construction, where it now shapes how every project is budgeted, managed, and delivered.

Since 2010, Ben has actively built throughout the Arcadia, Biltmore, and Scottsdale areas, earning a reputation for homes that are as well-built as they are well-designed. Beyond the job site, Ben has spent 20 years giving back to the community, serving as President of both Scottsdale 20/30 and the Scottsdale Charros. He's also a devoted husband and father to his son and daughter, a family that keeps him grounded in why he builds the way he does.

It's that combination of financial discipline, hands-on craftsmanship, and genuine care that defines his reputation for honesty and integrity in building.
